Advanced SNMP Card

 is an interface to the 

Ethernet Network

and provides UPS information via the standard 

SNMP Protocol

 

(UPS-MIB (RFC-1628); GE Single MIB; GE Parallel MIB). 
The UPS can therefore be managed by a 

Network Management 

System (NMS)

 or by our applications (for instance 

JUMP

uses this information to determine the state of the UPS in order to 

guarantee safe and orderly shutdown of the server, when
