2. Once the Page button is pressed and held
for more than 10 seconds on a base station,
the base stays in registration mode for approx.
2 minutes. While the handset searches for an
available base station, the screen displays

Deregister Handset
WARNING: It is not recommended that a handset
be deregistered unless absolutely necessary
because once a handset is deregistered, that
handset’s telephone features cannot be used
until the handset is re-registered.
