Thermostat Control

When you turn the Thermostat

Control to the desired setting, the

thermostat will automatically control
the temperature of the indoor air.

The higher the number selected, the
cooler the room air will become.

The Save Energy Range (on some
models) is a visual reminder that
you can save energy by turning the

control to a lower number. While

the room temperature will be

 warmer, it will still be

and less humid than outside.

on the cooling coils. The ice blocks
air

 and stops the unit from

cooling the room. This “freezing up”

is a temporary condition that most

often occurs at night when the
Thermostat is set on   or 10 and the
Selector is set on LO COOL.

To correct the condition, set the
Selector at HI FAN or HI COOL
with the Thermostat at   or 2.

 you notice that your air

conditioner is not cooling   it

should, it
