Deactivation of Salvo Switching
When Salvo Switching is deactivated, only the selected monitors can sequence. With Salvo Switching
enabled, Salvo Switching is deactivated as follows:
1. Select a
monitor (B through E)
by pressing its button.
2. Press the
SEQUENCE
button.
3. Monitors B through E then stop sequencing.

Use this menu to associate groups of cameras to display when Salvo Switching is activated. There can
be the same number of index group lists as the number of alarm inputs (16).
A
group
in this context is a previously defined camera group that contains the camera in
alarm along with three associated cameras. This camera group is setup in the
Alarm
Action
menu. See the Alarm Action Menu on page 43.
3. Rotate the
Jog
to navigate, and the
Shuttle
to change the
values.
4. To terminate the index list, select the
blank value
in the Group
field.
5. To save changes and exit the menu: Select
[OK]
, then press
the
Enter
button.
6. Exit the menu without making changes: Press the
Menu
button,
or select
[CANCEL]
, and then press the
Enter
button.
3.10 Record
Use this menu to:
•
Specify the record quality: High, Medium, or Standard.
•
Specify if a camera is to be used for event recording,
time-lapse recording, or both.
•
Specify the time-lapse record rate per camera.
•
Specify the event record rate per camera.
•
Specify the activity record rate per camera.
•
Specify the alarm record rate.
•
Set the Record Lock feature.
•
Perform disk maintenance by Deleting, Un-deleting, or
Destroying previously recorded video.
•
Specify how the unit will handle data overwrite issues
once the hard disk becomes full.
