Remote management

. This will enable and disable remote the VNC client access to the

Control Panel. If

Remote Management

is enabled, users can use a VNC viewer to connect to and

view the server

’s display on their PC or laptop over the network.

A new window appears as shown in

Figure 158

. Check the

Enable Remote Management

checkbox to enable remote management of this server. Uncheck the checkbox to disable remote
management. Press

to save settings and enable or disable remote management immediately.

NOTE: This option presents the same functionality as the checkbox on previous versions of the Control

Panel. The Control Panel checkbox to enable/disable remote management has been moved to this panel.
