Fit the diaphragm shut-off valve for preliminary shut-off between the wall plate and the pres-
sure regulator.
DANGER!

Disconnect pressure source before disassembling! Toxic, corrosive or flammable gasses have
to be purged out before disassembly in order to avoid injuries of the operater. Fire-, explosion-
or intoxication hazard!
6.1. FITTING THE SHUT-OFF VALVE MVA 3100 G (W)

Check material compatibiliy of regulating unit (EMD + MVA MVR) and gas. Certain gases
require special materials for the body (brass or stainless steel) and sealing material (eg, FKM,
EPDM..). Do not fit the valve if the result is negative or ambigous.
6.1.1. INSTALLATION ON WALL ADAPTER WITH G 3/8“ - M.
Tool: open-end wrench SW 36. Parts: seal 14 x 9 x 2 mm.
Install the membrane between a wall panel and pressure
regulator.
