4 Operating the Unit
Warning!
4.1 Switching on the Unit
Switch on the
NEOSERV 114
. The green LED of the
Standby key
will be flashing.
4.2 Select
Channels
Press the
Standby key
of setting the unit into operation. The pump will work now.
Apply suction electrodes for channel I and channel II.
!!
Note!
•
If you use only 2 suction electrodes, you must close the suction connections of the unused channel
with the short circuit hose before operation.
•
While plugging the tube connections you must overcome 2 pressure points, otherwise the suction
connection is not airtight.
4.3 Vacuum
Setting
The
Vacuum regulator
is used for selecting the desired vacuum pressure. This vacuum pressure level can
be set anywhere between low vacuum (just enough to keep the electrodes in place on the patient’s skin) and
high vacuum (hematoma produced for therapeutic reasons).
•
Clockwise rotation
= increase in vacuum = increase in sucking action
•
Counter-clockwise rotation = decrease in vacuum = decrease in sucking action.
4.4 Pulses
Setting
The
Pulse regulator
is used for selecting the desired suction-wave pulse duty factor from 0 - 60 pulses/min.
•
Clockwise rotation
= increase suction power maximum 60 pulses/min
•
Counter-clockwise rotation = decrease suction power minimum 0 pulses/min.
