10.1.1 Diagnostic LED Indicators
All diagnostic functions are displayed on the 'VAL' & 'GV1' Diagnostic LED indicators. These
indicators are tri-colour, capable of glowing Red, Green or Orange. The indicators enable
enhanced diagnostics for the user and for Astrosys personnel when assisting customers from a
remote location. The ST2 validation module is also equipped with a diagnostic LED but this
indicator is not referenced in this manual.
The 'GV1' diagnostic LED reflects the operational status of the complete GV1 unit and displays any
overall error conditions. The 'VAL' diagnostic LED displays the specific operational status of the
ST2 validation module.
