The battery is unlocked. The double latch plate holds the battery in the appropriate
place and prevents it falling out.
If the battery cannot be slid into the appropriate position, pull out the battery with
one hand, while turning the key with the other.

Removing the Battery
Built-in type
If a battery cover from another company is installed, remove the battery cover first. The
following procedure uses a type of frame where the battery is installed/removed from the lower
side of the down tube as an example.
Refer to the user's manual for details.
1.
Open the socket cap.
Press the power switch to turn the power OFF, and then open the socket cap.
2.
Release the battery lock.
(1) Insert the key or hexagon wrench into the key cylinder of the battery mount.
(2) Support the battery with your hand, and turn the key or hexagon wrench clockwise.
The battery is unlocked. The double latch plate retains the battery in the designated
position and prevents it from falling out.
If the battery does not go down into the designated position, pull out the battery with
your hand while turning the key or hexagon wrench.

• If the battery is retained with a double latch plate, the double latch plate could
deform if struck by a strong external force, causing the battery to drop.

2.2 Charger
• Use the charger for the specified e-bike only.
• Connect the plug correctly.
• Do not touch the plug with wet hands.
• Do not store the charger with the mains lead wrapped round it. This could damage the
mains lead or the plug.
• Do not touch the charger contacts with metal objects to avoid causing a short circuit.
• Do not expose the charger to mechanical shocks.
• Do not use the charger in damp locations.
• Ensure the charger does not touch your skin in the same place for long periods while
charging.
• Do not allow children to use the charger.
