Screen Saver:
This feature will turn your LCD off after 1, 3 or 5 minutes but will continue to record
regardless. This feature is useful for night driving as having the LCD on could be a distraction.
Frequency:
This feature allows the best recording in conditions where street lights and ac lighting is
used. The Australian standard frequency is 50HZ so it should be set to ‘50hz’.
Rotate:
This feature allows you to flip the display upside down. This would be useful if the device is
installed upside down.
OSD Mode:
Allows you to turn the OSD (On Screen Display) on or off. These include the images
and writing on the display.
License No. Set:
Allows you to set your cars number plate lettering/number to be stamped on the
video footage only if the ‘Date Stamp’ setting is enabled. Use the Power/Mode button to move to ‘A’
for letters and ‘0’ for numbers. Use the arrows keys to choose a letter/number then press the record
button to select it. Select ‘Del’ to delete the previous character and ‘OK’ when you want to save it.
Delete:
This will allow you to delete the recently recorded file or all recordings on the device
Format:
This feature allows you to format/delete all the files off your micro SD card and also
reinstalls your DCIM directory and DVR software on your SD card so the micro SD card can operate
with your DVR free of errors.
Default Setting:
This feature will reset all your settings and return your DVR to the factory standard
settings.
Version Info:
This simply shows the firmware/software employed by the DVRs hardware.
