Carefully insert the small flat-blade screwdriver between the LED panel cable and the
black plastic hinge where the cable connects to the system board. Gently lift the hinge
off the cable. The cable is now free.

Remove the LED panel.

Insert the new LED panel, then secure it with two screws.

Make sure that the black plastic hinge on the system board LED connector is in the
raised position.

Insert the end of the LED cable between the black plastic hinge and the white
connector.

Reassemble the notebook.
Important The cable is oriented correctly if it is not twisted and the blue side is
visible.
