Turning on the enclosure
After you have the system set up and installed, you are ready to turn on the
enclosure.
Make sure that none of the data cables or power cables are obstructing the air
flow exiting the cooling fan module.
To turn on the drive enclosure:

Locate the power supply On/Off switches at the rear of the enclosure.

Press each power supply power switch to its “On” position. Each enclosure
performs a power on self test (POST) during its initial start.

Turn on the host computers connected to the enclosure.
Turning off the enclosure
If you are planning to completely shut down the entire system, turn off the
host system first.
To turn off the drive enclosure:

Turn off the host system.

Press each enclosure’s power supply On/Off switches to their “Off”
position.
