Replacing the hot-plug backplane

Place the backplane onto the hot-plug cage bracket, making sure the
hooks on the bracket fit into the slots on the backplane.

When the backplane is securely in place, tighten the two captive
thumbscrews.

Reconnect all cables on the backplane to the correct connectors.

Replace all hot-plug drives. Be careful to replace them in the same slots
that they were in before you removed them.

Close the case. (See “Closing the case” on page 27.)

Reconnect all peripherals and the power cord, then turn on the system.
