Accessing Video on 504-HD COMRAD™ (Hard Disk Drive).
Do not format the COMRAD™ HDD using Microsoft Windows.
To access video already recorded on the 504-HD COMRAD™ (hard disk drive) using a USB connection the COMRAD™ must first
be removed from the 504-HD, ensure that the system has powered down fully prior to removing the COMRAD™.
To remove the COMRAD™ untighten the Two retaining screws, item 1 in Figure 1 and then carefully slide out the COMRAD™.
Using the Dual-Headed USB cable provided attach the COMRAD™ using
its USB Port (2 in Figure 3) to a USB connection on the PC.
A message stating that windows needs to format the drive will appear
Three times, click on CANCEL each time.
Once the COMRAD™ has been connected to the computer it will show as
ready for use when the HDD indicator LED (1) is illuminated.
Using G4 viewer Click on the Hard Disk icon and the contents of the
COMRAD™ will be displayed
