Tips for Saving Energy

•

Replace empty porcelain containers as quickly as possible or remove them from the warming zone to avoid unne-
cessary warming taking place.

•

Use induction-compatible pots whose size is appropriate for the amount of food they contain. Energy usage is
dependent only on the size of the dish and the level of warmth of the warming zone, and not dependent upon the
on the filling level or food in the dish.

•

Use our InductWarm® Buffet covers, if possible, to prevent the meal from cooling down. If the dish cover is used,
it is possible to use a lower level of warmth in the warming zone to keep meals warm.

•

Disconnect the InductWarm® system from the power supply when it is not being used, for example over night.
The InductWarm® system uses energy even when it is in standby mode.

•

Always fill your dishes into preheated induction-compatible pots. That could well enable the meal to be kept warm
at a lower level of power.

•

Place the induction-compatible pot as close as possible to the centre of the warming zone  (see the marking of the
circle) to enable the system to run at full efficiency.

General Information about the Operation of Induction Devices

People with electronic implants (e.g. cardiac pacemakers) must clarify with their doctor, on the basis of the technical
data, whether they can use the device safely.

There is a risk of demagnetization when the device is in operation. It is thus possible that certain objects (e.g. credit
cards with magnetic strips, video or audio cassettes or computer discs) that come into range of the magnetic alternating
field will have any data that is saved on them deleted.

Metallic objects that come into range of the magnetic alternating field can heat up quickly. Please make sure that there
are no metallic objects on or above the elements.

When setting the device up, ensure that there is a minimum distance of 20cm to any walls and any other objects that
could hinder ventilation.
