SOLVING PROBLEMS
If any problems occur during operation, you will find solutions in this section.
IMPORTANT -
Before starting your troubleshooting, always switch off (rotary switch
to “0”) and unplug the appliance.

You cannot turn on the
sealing screw sufficiently
tight for making the jar
leak-free.
The sealing screw is in
wrong orientation.
Turn the sealing screw upside down and try again.
The sealing screw is tilted. Ensure to hold the sealing screw level, while turning it.
Otherwise, the thread may get damaged.
The sealing ring is
missing.
Clamp the white silicone sealing ring between the base of
the jar and the blade assembly.
The thread of the sealing
screw or jar is damaged.
Contact your vendor for replacement.
The motor does not start
AND / OR
the blades do not rotate.
The appliance is not live.
Ensure that the appliance is connected to an appropriate
power supply (see: ‘Important Safeguards for Electrical
Appliances’). Test the power outlet by connecting a lamp.
The safety interlock is not
engaged correctly.
The motor starts only with the jar placed correctly on the
motor base and
the lid engaged correctly at the
jar. Turn the jar
, until it settles down completely on
the motor base. Press the lid onto the jar until it engages
at the handle of the jar with a click (see: ‘Operation /
Getting Ready for Operation’).
The blades are blocked.
Remove the jar from the motor base and take out the
obstacles. Chop hard ingredients via short pulses (see:
‘Tips for Best Results / Processing Solid Food’).
The overheat protection
is active.
Unplug the appliance and leave the appliance cool down for
30-45 minutes. Thereafter, try again. Avoid overheating for
maintaining a long-lasting lifetime of the appliance (see: ‘Pro-
perties of Your Vital Mixer Plus / Overheat Protection Device’).
A severe problem
occurred.
Unplug the appliance and call your customer service for
support (see: ‘Information and Service’).
