surfaces and gasket seals. Do not use any hard or sharp-edged objects for cleaning.
Only the mixing jar may be cleaned in an automatic dishwasher.
In general, for keeping the appliance hygienically clean and for preventing the
build-up of harmful germs, you should avoid to leave any food go bad or dry on the
mixing jar, blade assembly, or lids.
USING THE SELF-CLEANING FEATURE
WARNING
– Do not fill the mixing jar over the “400ml” filling line.
Do not
fill in hot liquids.
At the maximum the dishwater for cleaning may be lukewarm
(approx. 30°C).
1. Immediately after operation, rinse the blade assembly with clear water for remo-
ving coarse residues of food.
2. Fill the mixing jar with approx. 200ml lukewarm dishwater and turn on the blade
assembly. Wipe dry the exterior of the mixing jar and blade assembly.
3. Operate the appliance with some short pulses (see: ‘Operation’).
4. When the mixing jar is clean, remove the mixing jar from the motor base and
unplug the appliance. Rinse the mixing jar and blade assembly with clear tap
water and wipe dry.
NOTE
If this method for cleaning is not successful, wash the mixing jar and blade assem-
bly in warm dishwater.
WASHING THE LIDS, MIXING JAR, AND BLADE ASSEMBLY
CAUTION
– Always ensure that the gasket seals in the base of the blade
assembly and in the lids will not be damage or lost, as they enable an airtight fit
with the mixing jar.
NOTE
If there are stubborn residues sticking to the parts, you should soak the mixing jar,
lids, and blade assembly in warm dishwater for 5-10 minutes, before cleaning.
Wash the lids, mixing jar, and blade assembly in warm dishwater. The mixing jar
may be cleaned in an automatic dishwasher.
