WARNING
–
Do not fill in hot food to avoid any build-up of high pres-
sure, when the mixing jar is closed. Additionally the mixing jar could crack,
when exposed to extreme temperature variations.
Ensure that the gasket seal at
the inner rim of the blade assembly is clean and correctly in place. Otherwise, the
mixing jar may be leaking during operation.
IMPORTANT -
For processing larger amounts, divide your food in appropriate
portions. At the maximum, the mixing jar may be filled up to the “400 ml” marking
(0.4 litres).
Hard types of food:
cut your food in cubes of approx. 1 - 1,5 cm in size (e.g. car-
rots). In a run, process max. 240 g. Always add some liquid (fill up to max. 360 g).
Liquids and soft types of food:
max. 360 g.
1. Prepare your food and fill it into the mixing jar. Doing so, observe the maximum
amount.
2. Ensure that the gasket seal of the blade assembly is in place and clean. Remove
any splashes of food from the upper rim and exterior of the mixing jar.
3. Then turn the blade assembly onto the mixing jar,
ensuring that the threads are
not tilted
. Turn the blade assembly handtight for getting a good seal. Turn the
mixing jar upside down and
ensure that the mixing jar is completely leak-free
.
4. Place the motor base on a suitable surface near a suitable wall power outlet
(see: ‘Important Safeguards for Electrical Appliances’).
5. Place the mixing jar onto the motor base, aligning the white arrows on the
mixing base and blade assembly with each other. Slightly press the mixing jar
down, while turning it clockwise for locking it securely to the motor base.
6. Insert the power plug into an appropriate wall power outlet.
CAUTION
– To ensure that the appliance will not fall or move about on the
working space, keep a hand on the mixing jar, while the motor is agitating. To
avoid overheating: with runny ingredients do not operate the motor continuously
for more than 1 minute. Hard ingredients may not be processed continuously for
more than 30 seconds. Allow the motor to rest for at least 3 minutes before conti-
nuing. If the blades get stuck or agitate noticeably slow, stop operation immedia-
tely (release the on/off button) and add some liquid, and/or reduce the amount
of ingredients in the mixing jar.
