PROPERTIES OF YOUR NEW DESIGN MINI CHOPPER
PLUS
Your new DESIGN MINI CHOPPER PLUS comes with 3 pairs of blades that may
be used separately or in combination. The lower pair of blades is integrated in the
blade shaft. The other 2 pairs of blades can be removed to fit the desired purpose.
According to the variety of processed foodstuff, the motor may be operated in 2
speeds.
1. Pressing only slightly onto the ON/OFF button, the motor agitates with the slow
speed 1.
2. When pressing firmly onto the ON/OFF button, the high speed 2 is activated.
After operation, you simply disassemble all parts of the appliance coming in contact
with food. This makes emptying and cleaning effortless. Additionally, for your conve-
nience, you may clean the glass container, cutting assembly, and lid in the automatic
dishwasher (see: ‘Care and Cleaning’).
SAFETY CONCEPT
For your protection, your new DESIGN MINI CHOPPER PLUS is equipped with some
safety features. The safety interlocks assure that the motor will not operate unless the
appliance is assembled correctly (see: ‘Assembling the Appliance’).
Important:
Do not attempt to damage or by-pass the safety interlocks! Do not
attempt to operate the appliance using others than the designated parts or using
parts that are damaged in any way. Only operate the motor unit with the designa-
ted parts completely and correctly assembled.
TIPS FOR BEST RESULTS
You may use your new DESIGN MINI CHOPPER PLUS to cut, grind, and mix several
types of food. Please, adhere to the following tips to get best results.
• Do NOT use this appliance to mix glutinous food.
• If you wish to blend or cut bigger amounts, use all three pairs of blades.
• When using all three pairs of blades (with solid food), please ensure that the
amount of ingredients covers the middle pair of blades fully and reaches just the
upper pair of blades (500 - 600 ml).
• This appliance is designed to process small amounts. Do not exceed the
amounts indicated in these instructions. With liquids, do not fill in more than
400 ml. When processing foaming food (e.g. egg white, cream), do not fill in
