2.   Unscrew the blade assembly from the jar. Only touch the blade assembly by its

base to avoid getting cut.

CAUTION:

Do not clean the motor base or power cord in an automatic dish-

washer. Do not use any hard or sharp-edged objects for cleaning. Do not use any

aggressive or abrasive cleaners.
Ensure that the gasket seals in the base of the blade assembly and lids will not be

damage or lost, as they ensure an airtight fit with the jars. Thus, after cleaning,

always ensure that the gasket seal is properly in place.
3.   Clean the jars, lids and blade assembly in warm dishwater, using a soft nylon

brush.

However, you may clean jars and lids in an automatic dishwasher. For this, place

the lids on the top rack. With an automatic dishwasher featuring temperature con-

trol, select a low temperature.

Tip:

If there are stubborn residues sticking still on the parts, you may soak the jars, lids,

and blade assembly in warm dishwater for 5-10 minutes before cleaning.

4.   Dry the parts thoroughly after cleaning, and thereafter let dry naturally for

approx. 1 hour, where the parts are

out of reach of young children.

 Ensu-

re that the silicone gasket seal at the base of the blade assembly is securely in

place.

IMPORTANT:

It is good advice wrap the blade assembly in a clean cloth, to avoid

unintentionally touching the blades.

any hard or heavy objects on or in the appliance or any part of it.
