NON-STICK COATING
The grilling areas of your table-top grill are provided with a non-stick coa-
ting. Do not use hard or sharp objects for scratching, stirring, or cutting
on the non-stick coating (e.g. knives, forks, metal grilling utensils). We
will not be liable for damage to the non-stick coating, if unsuited utensils
have been used.
•
Before the very first use,
wipe the non-stick coating of the grilling
plate with a little cooking oil that is suited for high temperature. The-
reafter, there is no need for adding any oil for cooking.
• Do not use the appliance, if the non-stick coating is scratched, cra-
cked or detached due to overheating.
• Do not use metal utensils as this may damage the non-stick coating of
the grilling plate. Only use wooden or heat-resistant plastic cooking
utensils with the appliance. Do not use any spray-on non-stick coa-
tings, oven cleaners, or similar utilities.
• The non-stick coating minimises the effort of cleaning. Do not use abra-
sive scorers or abrasive cleaners for cleaning. Even stubborn residues
can be removed via a soft sponge or soft nylon brush and warm dish-
water.
