Always ensure that the housing of the ›Banquet Roasting Pan‹ and, in particular,
the interior of the power socket at the ›Banquet Roasting Pan‹ is clean and dry, before con
-
necting the temperature control unit. The metal parts within the power socket must be dry and
smooth to ensure good electric contact, thus avoiding risk of fire and electric shock. Always
connect the temperature control unit to the ›Banquet Roasting Pan‹ first. Thereafter, insert the
power plug into a wall power outlet with correct ratings. See: ›Important Safeguards for Elec-
trical Appliances‹.
The housing and lid of the ›Banquet Roasting Pan‹ will get very hot during operation. Only
touch the appliance by the handles and operating elements (temperature dial). Before ope-
ration, connect the power adaptor to the ›Banquet Roasting Pan‹, then insert the power plug
in the power outlet.

To ensure an exact temperature control, the temperature control unit offers 10 temperature
levels. Refer to the table below for our recommendations concerning the various methods of
preparing your food.

Use the given temperature values as a rule of thumb. Adapt the settings to the type and con-

When placing food in the hot ›Banquet Roasting Pan‹, water and fat could
splash vigorously. Ensure that all persons (including you!) stay in sufficient distance, especial-
ly, when opening the lid.
warnIng:
Hot condensate could build-up under the lid and drip, when opening the lid.
What‘s more, hot steam could escape and fat could splash. Even with the lid closed secure-
ly, hot steam could escape via the steam vent. Thus, do not hold any part of your body over
the steam vent of the lid. Only place the lid on a heat- and moisture-resistant surface where
