4.0 COVER ASSEMBLY
The hopper cover is an accessory and is supplied only on
request.
In rainy weather it guarantees a dry spreading.
For a correct assembly of the cover, keep to the following
instructions:
Unscrew the bolts as indicated in Fig.3. Unroll the cover on the
hopper so that the rubber bands are on the rear side of the
spreader and then fix the other two edges with the bolts M8X20.
Fasten both hooks in the 2nd and 5th hole on the rear side of the
hopper (Fig.4).
Pass the rubber band through the hopper lower hook and then
fasten it in the eyelet of the cover (Fig.5).
To fill the hopper roll the cover up and link the rubber bands to the
couplings on the front side of the spreader (Fig.6).
The cover can also be used as a protection against foreign
bodies, especially during long periods of inactivity.
