1.0. INTRODUCTION
This manual contains the instructions for the use and maintenance
of the seeder as well as a description of the spare parts supplied
with it.
This manual is an integral part of the product, and must be kept
in a safe place for consultation throughout the life of the
machine.
1.1. DESCRIPTION OF THE SEEDER
This agricultural equipment, can only operate by means of a
Cardan shaft applied to the power takeoff of an agricultural tractor
equipped with a lifting unit, with a three-point univer-sal joint.
The equipment is particularly suit-able for precision seeding, for
multi-purpose use and on any kind of tilled or partially tilled land.
The seeding machine is pneumatically operated and may be
equipped with various accessories, such as, for
example, a fertilizer distributor, a microgranulator and additional
seeding elements. There are, more-over, various types of
electronic instruments for seeding control and for the calculating
the area seeded (Ha).
CAUTION
The seeder has been designed exclusively for seeding in
the ground. Any use other than that described in these
instructions could damage the machine and be extremely
dangerous for the user.
Good performance depends on the correct use and proper main-
tenance of the equipment. It is advisable therefore scrupulously
to observe the instructions provided in this manual order to
prevent the emergence of problems which could jeopardize the
machine's lifespan or its performance.
It is also important to ahdere to what is described in this manual
since the Manufacturer declines all responsibil-ity for
consequences arising due to negligence and non-observance of
these rules.
The Manufacturer is, of course, avail-able to assure immediate
and thorough technical assistance and all that may be necessary
to ensure that the equipment operates well, giving first class
performance.
1.2. GUARANTEE
- On delivery, check that the equip-ment has not been damaged
during transportation and that its accessories are undamaged
and complete.
- Any claims must be made in writing within eight days of
reception of the goods.
- The purchaser will only be able to enforce his rights relative to
the guarantee if he has complied with the conditions concerning
the scope of the guarantee, set out in the supply contract.
- The guarantee is valid for a year, against all defects of material,
from the date of delivery of the equip-ment.
- The guarantee does not include working and shipping costs
(the material is shipped at the con-signee's own risk).
- All damage to persons or things are, of course, excluded from
the guarantee.
- The guarantee is limited to the repair or replacement of the
defec-tive piece, according to the Manufacturer's instructions.
Dealers or users may not claim any compensation from the
Manufacturer for any damage they may suffer (labour or
transport costs, defective indirect accidents, loss of earnings on
the harvest, etc.).
1.2.1. EXPIRY OF GUARANTEE
Besides what has already been set out in the supply contract,
theguar antee will be null and void:
- If the limits set out in the technical data table are overshot.
- If the instructions set out in this manual have not been carefully
fol-lowed.
- If the equipment is improperly used or due to defective
maintenance or other errors by the client.
- If modifications have been carried out without the written
authoriza-tion of the manu-facturer and non-original spare parts
have been used.
1.3. IDENTIFICATION
Each single piece of equipment, is equipped with an identification
plate (9 Fig. 4), which bears:
- Manufacturers mark;
- Name, company name and address of the Manufacturer;
- Type of machine;
- Registration of the machine;
- Year of manufacture
- Mass, in Kilograms.
This information must always be quoted whenever assistance or
spare parts are required.
