For your safety

Read this manual before installing, using or servicing this equipment.

Warning

Improper installation, service, adjustment or maintenance can result in property damage, injury or death. A qualified
gas-fired heating equipment installer should install this equipment. Gasolec B.V., its subsidiaries and affiliates, can not
be responsible for ensuring that all appropriate safety precautions, proper installation, periodic maintenance and
cleaning are followed: this is entirely the responsibility of the installation distributor, the installer and equipment owner.

Caution:

Do not store or use gasoline or other flammable vapours and liquids in the vicinity of heaters.

Usage:

Gasolec heating equipment is used only for animal confinement rearing, i.e. poultry houses.

1. General
1.1

General security precautions

The G12 heater should be used only for the purpose it was designed. Any other use is to be considered improper. The
manufacturer will not cover any negative consequences of this; the risk is only covered by the user. The proper use of
the heater includes the correctly following of all installation, use and maintenance conditions as described in this
manual. The local rules dealing with the prevention of accidents as well as generally acknowledged preventive safety
and health regulations need to be followed. Check the safety and proper functioning of the equipment:

Before using the product

On a regular basis at least 1x per year

After the product has been changed or put in a different position

The national regulations of the energy supplier need to be complied with!

1.2

Electric Parts (Concerns the G12-Asco)

All activities going further then normal maintenance of the equipment can only be done by a certified technician.
Disconnect the power supply to the heater at all times when working on the heater. Check the electric wiring before
using the heater for the first time on damage. Damaged lines should be replaced before using the equipment. Only a
qualified electrician should do repairs on cable connectors. Never unplug a cable from a socket by pulling on the wire!

Maintenance

Disconnect the power and gas supply before working on a heater. Qualified technicians, people that are trained and
experienced in this field and who are expected to be able to do a proper job, should only do repairs.
The user of the equipment should verify the proper functioning of the equipment each time it has been serviced. He can
only use the product again after making sure that all safety functions are in good order again. Spare parts should be up to
standard. The use of original parts is a way to ensure the correct quality of the heaters.

Warranty

Unapproved changes on the product and / or the electric supply system make any claims void.

1.5

Damage caused by interruptions in the power supply

We recommend the installation of an alarm system to watch over the system. This helps to limit any damage to your
animals inside and to sustain the profitability of your farm. An emergency power generator is recommended to be
present to kick in automatically when needed.

1.6

Delivery condition

To all our quotations, to all orders given to us and to all contracts concluded with us are applicable the ‘METAALUNIE
TERMS’ in their latest form as filed at the court registry of Rotterdam. A free copy is available upon request.
