If the lamp has no mark on the lamp base, feed span Hg

0

 and check the counts. Rotate the

lamp few  degrees and  then check the counts  again.  Continue this  until  you find the  angle
where you get the maximum counts and then tighten the screw. Notice that there might be two
opposite side maximums with different intensity.

5.  Remove the power cable and put the cover back.

6.

  Turn the analyzer back on. Wait until all temperatures have stabilized and then recalibrate the

analyzer.
