MULTIPLE WALK-THROUGH SITE INSTALLATION
For multiple walk-through metal detector (WTMD) operation (units within 25’ to 100’ of each
other depending on sensitivity setting), certain power requirements and installation
adjustments are necessary to avoid crosstalk (interference) among units.
There are several ways to successfully install multiple walk-throughs in close proximity with no
crosstalk. The following examples are aimed to help the installer determine an appropriate
method for eliminating crosstalk.
