—Sends a message
with location information.
Map
—view the location on a map.
Sending a Found Location
You can find a location and send it
to people in your Contacts list. The
information is sent to Garmin Mobile XT
users as a location text message. Non-
users receive a text message only.
1. Find a location.
2. On the information page, select
(Menu
>)
Options
>
Send Location
.
3. Select a contact from the list.
4. Select the message text you want
to include with the location, or
select
Custom
to create your own
message.

5. To attach a map of the location,
select
(Menu
>)
Options
>
Attach
Map
. (The MMS service required for
this feature may not be available on
all phones.)
6. To send the location, select
Send
.
Finding Places Near
Other Locations
By default, Garmin Mobile XT finds
places near your current location. You
can also use Garmin Mobile XT to find
places near your current road or route,
your route destination, or a location you
select.
