Congratulations for choosing one of our quality pro-
ducts. Please follow these instructions carefully and
keep them for future reference.
1. Functionality
The Marten-Free-Pro Device generates an acoustic si-
gnal with a frequency of 23 kHz in intervals of each 1
second turn-on and 3 seconds turn-off time. This ultra
high frequency is uncomfortable to martens keeping
them away from the vehicle.
2. Assembly
The Marten-Free-Pro Device is fastened by means of
self-tapping screws or adhesive pads in the engine
compartment of the vehicle. The connecting wire to the
car battery must be kept clear of all moving compo-
nents or hot areas (Cooling fan, exhaust manifold etc).
The device should be placed in the engine compartment
and kept clear of any insulating materials
ATTENTION: Fitting should be carried out by a
qualified auto electrician!
3. Electrical connection
The device is directly connected to the car battery and
binder 15. The red cable is connected to the positive
pole, the black one to binder 15, which you find at
the plug for the car-Hifi and which is marked (EURO
NORM). With this connection type the device works
only when the ignition is turned off. The electric po-
wer consumption is lower than the one of a car quartz
watch.
4. General notes
When your car has already been visited by martens, most
likely the animals left their marks for the identification
of their area. These odours must unconditionally be re-
moved before the assembly of the
Marten-Free-Pro
De-
vice, as other martens could possibly enter even to a bite
protected engine compartment. The best way to do so is
by means of an efficient motor wash. Furthermore, the
animals leave their marks frequently under the vehicle,
e.g. on the car park. It is therefore recommendable to
remove these traces with detergents and mop in order
not to give any reasons to the marten to be forced to
defend its area.

6. General information
1. Electric appliances, packaging material etc. should
be kept away from children.
2. Dispose packaging and worn out material correctly
and in an environmentally friendly way.
3. Do only pass on the device including the operation
manual.
4. Subject to change of design and technical data wit-
hout notice for the sake of constant product impro-
vement.
7. Safety instructions
Important:
Damage caused by not adhering to the
operating instructions is not covered by guarantee.
Gardigo accepts no liability whatsoever for any resul-
ting consequent damages.

Only operate the device at its intended voltage.

In case of repairs, only use original spare parts, to
avoid serious damage.

Check feed cables and conducting cables connected
to the device for breaks or insulation defects. If you
find a defect, or there is visible damage do not use
the device.

Repairs or other works, e.g. changing a fuse, etc.
may only be carried out by an appropriately trained,
skilled person.
