Faults:
Reduced discharge rate.
Causes:
Outlet pipe bent or diameter reduced. Base/rotor soiled. Partially clogged.
Eliminating the problem:
Straighten pipe. Increase diameter. Clean.
Faults:
Pump doesn‘t start, or suddenly stops while in operation.
Causes:
The floater doesn‘t work. The motor switch didn‘t switch on. The rotor is stuck. The
overheating protection feature has switched off the pump because it is overheated. No
electricity. Debris (e.g. gravel, pebbles) have clogged the suction opening.
Eliminating the problem:
Check cables/plugs/fuses. Attention: Send the pump to customer service under all
circumstances! Temperature of liquid too high, max. +35 °C. The suctioning part is
clogged. Clean. Check power source. Pull the mains plug and clean the turbine. Make
sure that the maximum admissible temperature of 35°C is not exceeded. Check the fuses
and the electric connections. Clean the inlet opening; check the power source.
