c. Never work around people, especially children, or animals in the immediate
vicinity;
d. Remember that the operator or user is responsible for accidents or hazards
occurring to other people or their property.
2. Preparation
at. While working, always wear sturdy footwear and long trousers. Do not use the
machine when barefoot or in sandals.
b. Thoroughly inspect the area where the machine is to be used and remove all
objects that could be thrown by the machine;
c. Before use, always make a visual check to ensure that the tools are not worn or
damaged. Replace the blades and bolts damaged in sets to preserve balance.
3. Operation
at. Work only in daylight or in artificial light of good quality;
b. Insuring its not on the slopes;
c. Walk, never run with the machine;
d. In the case of wheeled machinery, treat transverse slopes, never up and down;
e. Change direction very carefully on sloping ground;
f. Do not work on excessively steep slopes;
g. Reverse the direction or pulling the machine towards you with great caution;
h. Do not change the speed control settings of the engine and do not use the engine
overspeed;
i. Start the engine carefully according to the manufacturer's instructions and keeping

j. Do not place hands or feet near or under rotating parts;
k. Never lift or carry a machine with the engine running;
l. Stop the engine whenever where the machine is left unattended.
4. Maintenance and storage

b. Allow engine to cool before storing in any enclosure;
c. Replace worn or damaged parts for safety.
