Read these instructions fully and make sure you understand the manual 
and labels affixed to the electric tiller before use. 

 

Wear appropriate personal protective clothing during use, including 
ear defenders, safety glasses and gloves. 

 

Before use make sure that the tiller has been correctly assembled and 
all parts and securely attached. 

 

Do not use if any parts are damaged, always consult a qualified repair 
person. 

 

Do not use in wet weather, wet areas or in areas where gases or other 
flammable materials are stored. 

 

Not suitable for use in frozen or snowy conditions. 

 

Keep children and pets well away from the working area. 

 

Tie long hair back and remove any loose jewellery before use. 

 

Wear a dust mask if the working environment is dusty. 

 

If the tiller becomes jammed during use or the motor becomes 
overloaded, the motor will switch off automatically. Release the trigger 
lever, disconnect from the power supply and allow to cool for at least 
15 minutes. Carefully remove the foreign object before reconnecting 
to the power supply and continuing your work. 

 

Always disconnect from the power supply when not in use or before 
storing. 

 

Guide the tiller at a walking pace, do not over reach. 

 

Only use the tiller in a well-lit area. 

 

When not in use store in a cool dry area and out of reach of children. 

 

Do not use the tiller on a slope which may be too steep for safe 
operation.
