3.6. DUTIES OF THE OPERATING COMPANY
The operating company must ensure that personnel who work on
the product comply with the regulations and provisions together
with the following instructions:
National and regional regulations for safety, accident prevention
and environmental protection regulations.
No damaged products are assembled, installed or commis-
sioned.
The necessary protective equipment is provided.
Observe the valid guidelines on storing hazardous substances.
Observe directive concerning the requirements of containment
trays made from steel (StawaR).
Hazard assessment and preparation of a hazardous substance re-
gister by the operator are required.

5. Transport
Immediately on receipt check the product for damage in transport.
Damaged products must not be installed or commissioned. Pallet
delivery. Transport on pallet using suitable lifting gear. Do not lift
cabinet off pallet alone.
CAUTION
Risk of injury during transport
Risk of injury from improper transport to installation site.
» Wear foot protection, safety gloves and safety helmet.
» Do not transport alone.
» Make sure the paths for movement and transport are clear.
» If features, release parking brake on castors and apply before
work.
» Transport with drawers and doors closed, locked and additionally
secured.
NOTICE
Improper transport
Damage to items of packaging.
» Handle items of packaging in accordance with the symbols and
instructions shown on them.
» Do not drag them across the floor.
» When items of packaging are being transported they must be up-
right, secured with ropes and protected against slipping.
» Be aware of the centre of gravity.
» Use the lifting points provided.
» When putting them down, do so slowly and evenly.
» Do not remove the transport packaging until immediately before
erection.
» Once the device has been erected at the place of erection, re-
move the transport restraints.
6. Setting up
Set up on a solid, level floor suitable for the maximum load capa-
city of the cabinet.
Use a spirit level to check horizontal levelling of the cabinet. If
necessary
All shelves and containment trays must be horizontal and level
and protected against rain.
CAUTION
Chemical substances hazardous to the environment
Material and environmental damage in the event of improper stor-
age of substances hazardous to the environment.
» Do not exceed the maximum filling quantities.
» Remove liquids that have leaked immediately and without leav-
ing any residue.
» Observe the material compatibility of the stored substances.
» Only store chemicals in suitable containers and with proper la-
belling.
» Keep doors closed.

Environmental damage and material damage.
» When loading or unloading the cabinet, put the containers in in-
termediate storage properly.
» Check containment tray and pull-out shelf for correct mounting
and secure seating before loading.
6.1. ADJUSTING LEVELLING BASE

Applies to: Chemicals storage cabinet.
NOTICE
Limited load-bearing capacity
Damage from overloading adjustable base.
» When using the adjustable base, note load-bearing capacity re-
duced to 500 kg.
» Before adjusting the adjustable base, completely clear out the
cabinet.
» Do not screw the adjustable base’s thread all the way in. Keep
0.5 cm of thread protruding.

Cabinet is completely empty.
1. Take lower storage shelf out of cabinet by lifting it at the holes
on the sides.
CAUTION! Risk of cuts. Wear safety gloves.
2. Adjust four levelling feet inside the cabinet using a 5-mm
hexagon L-wrench.
3. Use a spirit level to check horizontal levelling.
4. Repeat procedure until cabinet is perfectly level.
