Configuring global network settings
Global network settings ensure that the web application is accessible from all sub-
networks, even in complex networks.
How to configure global network settings:

Connecting the KVM switch to the local network
How to connect the KVM switch to the local network:
1. Remove the twisted pair cabling between computer and device.
2. Integrate the device into the local network.
Operating mode
Enter the desired operating mode:
Static:
Use of static settings.
DHCP:
Obtain settings from a DHCP server.
Hostname
Enter the hostname of the device.
Domain
Enter the domain to which the device should belong.
Gateway:
Enter the IP address of the gateway.
DNS server 1:
Enter the IP address of the DNS server.
DNS server 2:
Optionally
, enter the IP address of another DNS server.
In the
DHCP
operating mode the following settings are obtained automati-
cally. Entries are not possible.
