Efficient user group administration
User groups let you create a shared right profile for multiple users with identical
rights. Furthermore, any user accounts included in the member list can be grouped
and therefore no longer have to be individually configured. This facilitates the rights
administration within the system.
If the rights administration takes place within user groups, the user profile only stores
general data and user-related settings (key combinations, language settings, …).
When initiating the system, it is recommended to create different groups for users
with different rights (e. g. »
Office«
and »
IT«
) and assign the respective user accounts to
these groups.
EXAMPLE:
Create more groups if you want to divide the user rights even further. If,
for example, you want to provide some users of the »
Office«
group with the

right, you can create a user group for these users:
