8. Select the
Port Settings
tab.
9. Click the
Advanced
…
button.
The
Advanced Settings for COM
x
dialog box
appears as shown below. (Here
x
stands for the
particular port number you have chosen.)
10. Select a new
COM Port Number
from the drop-down menu.
Select a number of 8 or less. You do not
need to change any other settings. After
you have made a selection, remember
this number to use during the Gamry
Software Installation.
11. Click the
OK
buttons on the two open
dialog boxes to close them.
12. Close the
Device Manager
by clicking on
the
X
in the upper right-hand corner.
13. Proceed with the Gamry Software
Installation.
14. Make sure to select
Temperature
Controllers
in the
Select Features
dialog
box during installation:
