6. Care and maintenance
Do not expose the device to either extreme
temperatures, humidity, dust or direct sunlight.
Handle the cuff carefully and avoid all types of
stress through twisting or buckling in order not
to damage the sensitive air-tight bubble.
Clean the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not
use gas, thinners or similar solvents. Spots on
the cuff can be removed carefully with a damp
cloth and soapsuds. Do not submerge the cuff
in water!
Do not drop the monitor or treat it roughly in
any way.
Never open the monitor! Otherwise the manu-
facturer’s calibration will be spoiled.
Note:
According to international standards, your monitor should be checked
for calibration every 2 years.
