Tighten the clamp on the lower cross bar. In doing so,
support the lower face bow with your second hand to
avoid too much force being transferred to the clutch.
Strong force can cause pain or loosen the clutch.
It is important that the double clamp is tightened after the clamps of the side arms!
The axis locators for setting the anatomical axis can now
be removed. Make sure that the positions of the side
arms don't change when doing so.
If there is a change in position, this means that the system is not mounted tension-free, or that
one of the clamps is not fixed properly. The mounting procedure for the lower face bow must
then be repeated.
An improperly mounted lower face bow can lead to false registrations!
