ATTENTION
: Do not use this heater in series with an external timer, remote controller
or any other device that switches on the appliance automatically, since a fire risk exists
when the heater is accidentally covered or displaced at the moment it switches on.
– When the appliance is in operation, prevent pets, plants or insects to get in contact with it.
– Do not leave the appliance unattended while working and check it during the whole time
of frying.
– Use the deed fryer only at places where the risk of tilting over is prevented and which is
far enough from flammable objects (e. g.
curtains, drapes, wood
, etc.), heat sources
(e. g.
heater, electric/gas stove
, etc.) and from wet surfaces (
sinks, wash basins
, etc.).
– Before plugging in a socket, there must be fat or oil suitable for frying in the deep fryer.
– Immerse the frying basket with food in the heated fat slowly!
– Before connecting to an electric power socket the deep fryer must be correctly
assembled and must contain shortening or oil suitable for frying. The frying basket
handles must be properly attached so there is no danger of them slipping out during
handling.
– The deep fryer (heating element) is equipped with heat protection against overheating.
Wash all parts that will be in contact with food before the first use.
– Never immerse the panel (or its part) in water or other liquids and do not clean
it in running water!
– Never heat water in the deep fryer.
– When frying, do not touch the edges of the container, the glass inspection hole and
places where steam is going out; there is risk of burn and scalding. Also, mind the hot
steam going up after taking out the lid.
– Always use quality oil or fat intended for frying by the producer.
– Put the frying fat or oil to dry and cool container only; cut the fat into smaller cubes before
use. Do not combine mixtures of fat and oil! Thus you will prevent the oil from foaming
over!
– The level of the frying contents (oil or fat) has to be kept between the mark for MIN and
MAX
in order to prevent overheating or foaming over.
– Always replace the oil if its colour is brown or if it is thick, smells bad or if there is smoke
going from it after heating or if it spumes.
– There is a risk of self-ignition when old frying oil is used. In the case of sudden ignition,
disconnect the appliance from power supply and extinguish the oil by putting on the deep
fryer lid.
– The power cord must not be damaged by sharp or hot objects, by an open fl ame and it
must not be submerged under water. Never place it on hot surfaces and do not leave it
hanging over the edge of a table or a work bench. If the cord is tripped over or pulled by
for example children the deep fryer may tip over or be pulled down and lead to serious
burns!
– The appliance is portable and it is fitted with a movable power cord with the plug
providing bi-polar disconnection from the electric power grid.
