Replacing micro-filters
After replacing about 5 dust filters, micro-filters must be cleaned or replaced with new
ones. Dispose of the used dust filter and the micro-filters with common municipal waste.
Suction micro-filter
Remove the suction micro-filter grid
A16
by pulling it up, and then remove the suction
micro-filter
A8
from the grid (Fig. 13). Clean the filter in running lukewarm water, e.g.
using a cloth or a soft brush and let it dry completely. After drying, put the grid with a new
micro-filter in the opposite direction behind the guide ribs and slide it to the suction area of
the vacuum cleaner to the maximum position.
Exhaust micro-filter
Remove the outlet grille
A12
by pressing the arrest button and lift it up (Fig. 14). Tap the
dust out of the filter over a dustbin or to clean the filter through a blowing (we recommend
the filter cleaning outside of living area for hygiene reasons). If the protection micro
filter is very dirty, you can also rinse the pleated side of the HEPA filter under lukewarm
slow-running tap. Hold the filter in such a way that the pleated side points upwards and
the water flows parallel to the pleats. Hold the filter at an angle so that the water washes
away the dirt inside the pleats. Turn the filter 180° and let the water flow along the pleats
in the opposite direction. Continue this process until the filter is clean. Having done the
maintenance, the HEPA filter
A13
can be inserted back into the vacuum cleaner.
ATTENTION
– The „UniBag” dust filter is not intended for repeated use.
– Do not use any aggressive washing or cleaning agents or hot water to clean the HEPA
filter and the micro-filter.
– The HEPA filter and the micro-filters are not intended for cleaning in a dishwasher.
– Neglecting regular replacement of micro-filters can result in the vacuum cleaner failure!
– Make sure that the contact surfaces and sealing elements are functional.
– We recommend replacing the HEPA filter twice a year. Replace the other micro-filters
if they cannot be cleaned properly or if they are damaged.
Storing accessories
Accessory, floor nozzle, suction tubes and hose may be disassembled or left assembled
and hung on the back side or on the bottom of the vacuum cleaner (pic. 15). For better
stability, slide individual parts of the tube to each other so that the tube is as short as
possible. When storing, always set the floor nozzle to the carpet position (i.e. with the
brush retracted); thus you will prevent bending of the bristles.
V. MAINTENANCE
Store the vacuum cleaner at a dry place, far enough from heat sources (e.g.
fireplace, stove,
heating element
) and protect it from weather conditions (e.g.
rain, sunshine
). Treat surface
of the appliance with a soft and damp cloth, do not use coarse and aggressive detergents!
Store the appliance properly cleaned at a dry, dust-free place out of reach of children and
incapacitated people.
Floor nozzle, parquet nozzle, brush
After any vacuuming it is recommended to check visually the brushes or collectors for
possible impurities. If there are some impurities, remove them.
