After a hydromassage bath it is recommended to perform a cleaning cycle of the bathtub, especially
when it is foreseen that the bathtub will not be used for some time. The aim of the cleaning cycle is to
disinfect the bath and all the hydromassage circuit.
When you have finished the bath and once you are out of the bathtub:
Pour into the water a measure of disinfecting cleaning liquid, in accordance with the cleaning liquid
manufacturer's instructions and the bathtub size.
Set the hydromassage in operation for 2 minutes.
Finally turn off the hydromassage and leave the disinfectant liquid to do its job for 20 minutes.
Empty the bathtub.
Use only water and soap for cleaning the bathtub. Dry with a cloth or a soft brush that will not scratch the
surface. After each use it is advisable to rinse and dry the bath well to avoid lime deposits. To remove lime
deposits, use very dilute vinegar (acetic acid); never use off-the-shelf chemical products.
If the surface is glossy, possible scratches may be eliminated as follows:
Buff the surface with a solvent-free polish such as the type used on car painsts. If necessary, rub with fine
wet-type emery paper (nº 800), then a wet-type emery paper (nº 1.200) before applying the solvent-free
polish.
Should you notice any of the functions not operating as described in this manual, never allow anyone
except a qualified service engineer to service the interior of bath. We recommend you check through the
following table. Consult the following table and if necessary contact your Gala distributor.
Do not use harsh or abrasive products for cleaning the bathtub as they might damage its surface. Do not
use alcohol or any alcohol-based chemical product to clean the pushbuttons or controls.
