2.5 Protocol

Before  starting  a  measurement,  it’s  important  to  respect  a  protocol  which  allows  to  get
precise results with PhysiRun Lab. Each measurement must have a static period (flat foot
without any movement). This period is essential for PhysiRun Lab analysis to calibrate the
sensor (manually or automatically) before the analysis.

3.

How to do a measurement with Physilog

®

To obtain an analysable file, you have to do a measurement with Physilog

®

5. You can obtain

this  file  by  starting  the  device  with  the  watch,  the  application  or  the  sensors  directly.  For
each method your measurement files (.BIN) are saved in the sensor memory (8Go). A file
contains the raw data. Below you can check the name description:

3.1 Start measure from the watch

A measurement from the watch allows to start and stop the Physilog

®

5 by Bluetooth (within

a radius of 3 meters approximately).

Required material:

Watch

2 Physilog

®

—Open the application “Remote watch” already installed on the watch.
—To  connect  your  sensors  to  the  watch,  press  the  button  on  each  sensor  briefly  (<1s).
Connection between watch and sensor is automatically done after few seconds. Check that
the watch app went from Connecting to Connected, as shown in the picture below.

WARNING: During automatic analysis, every step is analysed. For example, if you
did a part of walking during the measure and you include this part in the analysis
the results could be biased.

WARNING: Before starting a measurement, please carefully read part 2.

NOTE: If the watch does not detect the sensor, you can do a soft reset by holding
the main button of the sensors for 10 seconds.
