– BN: Brown
– BU: Blue
– GN/YE: Green and yellow
– BK: Black
– GY: Grey

Depending on the type of connection, change the
arrangement of the terminals supplied by the fact-
ory, if required.
‒
For this, if required, shorten the clamps and re-
move the insulation in order to insert a clamp
that connects the 2 cables.
26.18 Checking the functionality
1.
Switch on the appliance.
2.
If , or lights up, the appliance is not
connected correctly.

Disconnect it from the power supply and check
the power cord connection.

If no faults appear on the appliance's display, use
the operating instructions to check that the appli-
ance is working.
26.19 Sealing the joints
For flush installation, seal the joints with silicone.
Requirement:
You must carry out a function test before
sealing any joints.

Seal all around the gap using suitable, heat-resistant
silicone, e.g. Novasil® S70 or Ottoseal® S70.
Unsuitable silicone adhesive causes permanent dis-
coloration to natural stone worktops.
2.
Use the smoothing agent recommended by the
manufacturer to smooth the joint.
3.
Observe the usage instructions for the silicone ad-
hesive.
4.
Leave the silicone adhesive to dry for at least 24
hours.
The drying time depends on the ambient temperat-
ure.
5.
Do not operate the appliance until the silicone has
dried completely.
26.20 Removing the appliance
WARNING ‒ Risk of electric shock!
When disconnecting the appliance from the power sup-
ply, the terminals may cause reverse voltage.

The electrical connection must only be carried out
by licensed specialist staff.
ATTENTION!
Tools may damage the appliance frame.

Do not prise out the appliance from above.
1.
Disconnect the appliance from the power supply.
2.
Remove the silicone joint.
3.
Push out the appliance from below.
