Transfer function

You can use this function to transfer the settings of one
hotplate to another.

This function can also be used on the flexible cooking
zones.

Note:

You can find additional information on the correct

positioning of the cookware in the section on

~

 "Flex

function"

1

Remove any cookware from the hob.
The hotplate display starts flashing. The hotplate
does not heat up.

2

Set the cookware down on a flexible hotplate within
the next 90 seconds. The new hotplate is detected
and the

ˆ

symbol lights up. The heat setting that

has been applied flashes in the hotplate display.

3

Select the new hotplate within 90 seconds using
the twist knob. The setting has been transferred.

Notes

Move the cookware to a hotplate which is not
switched on, which has not yet been preset and on
which no other cookware has yet been placed.

If the Flex function is activated by moving an item of
cookware across the flexible cooking zone, the
settings will be automatically applied.

A set cooking time will also be transferred to the
new hotplate. The frying sensor function will not be
transferred.

The booster functions can only be moved from left
to right or from right to left when none of the
hotplates are active.

If a new item of cookware is set down on another
hotplate before the settings have been confirmed,
this function will be ready for both cooking vessels.
Confirm the required heat setting.

If more than one vessel is moved, the function will
only be ready for the vessel which was moved last.

During the adjustment time, you can return the
cookware to the original hotplate. The hotplate will
then continue to heat up using the previous setting,
without the need for confirmation.
