Without operating voltage
, the outside lever handle is decoupled (open-
circuit principle).
By applying operating voltage
(e.g. via a switch), the outside lever handle
can be coupled.
Alternatively, it is always possible to couple the outside lever handle
through the built-in locking cylinder (key).
The following lock functions are available as potential-free contacts:
Position of the cylinder cam / key (initial position or actuated)
Outside lever handle (actuated or not actuated)
Inside lever handle (actuated or not actuated)
Without operating voltage
, the outside lever handle is coupled (closed-
circuit principle).
By applying operating voltage
(e.g. via a switch), the outside lever handle
can be decoupled.
Alternatively, it is always possible to couple the outside lever handle
through the built-in locking cylinder (key).

2.3.1.1 Open-circuit principle (fail-secure)
2.3.1.2 Closed-circuit principle (fail-safe)
