Installation instructions
1)
Here is your interior (left) & exterior handle (right)
2)
Flip exterior handle to the back side, remove the one Philips screw where the keyed barrel sits
3)
Install barrel, snug Philips screw to hold barrel in place *note the tail on the barrel can rotate 180
degrees, this is normal.
4)
This is your steel spindle, it must be centered like so within the locking cassette & door handles. This
is what connects the two handles & cassette together.
5)
Insert the spindle into the interior handle, tighten the set screw with the provided Hex/Allen key by
turning it clockwise
–
Note: be careful to not overtighten & strip the set screw
6)
Hold your handle up to the face of the door like so, a portion of the spindle should be protruding on
the exterior. Insert the handle with the spindle through the square hole on the door cassette .
7)
Make sure the thumb turn is in the upright position, add the exterior handle by feeding the spindle
into the square handle hole
a)
Line up the tail of the barrel with the thumb turn hole (on the back side of the interior handle at
the bottom)
8)
Gently press each side in until the handles sit flush to the door, take the correct length screws
(depending on your doors thickness) & thread them both in by hand
9)
Once the screws are hand threaded properly, snug them up with a Philips screw driver
10)
Close the door, lift up on the handle to engage the multipoint locks, then gently turn the thumb turn
to disable the handle. Your door should be locked & the handle should not be able to be engaged.
Note that the images above show a detailed breakdown of how the handles will look when inserted
through the cassette. This is shown outside of the door for demonstrative purposes.
