It will operate using both rechargeable and  
non-rechargeable batteries. 
 
To insert or replace batteries: 

1. 

Remove slide-on battery cover 

2. 

Insert 2 x AAA batteries into the battery 
compartment (in correct orientation) 

3. 

Replace slide-on battery cover 

 
Battery handling: 

  Use only AAA high-capacity, super  

alkaline or lithium disposable batteries 

  Never mix old and new batteries or use  

different types of batteries together 

  Do not expose batteries to direct heat  

or dispose of them by burning 

  Batteries must be disposed of according  

to local laws and regulations
