LED signals
In general: a normal LED signal stops after 1 minute. A failure LED signal will not stop
automatically.
1* LED fl ashes green
= programming mode infrared channels, see IR manual.
2* LED fl ashes red
= programming mode end positions and/or operation direction, see IR
manual.
3* LED fl ashes red/green
= programming mode end motors, see CH5.
4* LED fl ashes every 5 sec green
= timer is set, see IR manual.
5* LED lights red
= failure indication bus cables.
Disconnect the power, or check BUS-cable,
fi
xing and re-connect, or re-connect BUS-cable and operate
the system.
6* LED fl ashes fast red
= failure indication control.
High loading of the system, no clearance between curtain and ceiling, rail,
fl
oor or wall and possible
coving or excessive lubrication of the rail. If the LED continues to
fl
ash (system 6200), the end positions
will require re-progamming.
In case of failure
1* After mounting and connecting the rail, it will not react to the remote control.
An infrared channel must be programmed
fi
rst (see IR manual).
2* The system moves a short distance (~40cm).
An end-position must be programmed
fi
rst (see CH3) (6200 only).
3* The system does not move at all.
A: Check if the power supply is still present.
B: Check if the switch is defective and that the plug is correctly in the motor-unit.
C: Check batteries in the remote control and the plug of the infrared receiver.
D: Check if the LED in the motor is
fl
ashing red fast.
When the LED
fl
ashes red fast there was a control failure and the system has to be re-programmed
(see CH3).
E: Is the system is inter-connected with other systems; check the BUS cables.
4* The system does not respond to short pulses.
A: Check if the system responds to continuous operation.
B: If the system responds to continuous operation, but runs only for 5 sec and slowly:
Check if the LED in the motor-unit
fl
ashes red fast.
When the LED
fl
ashes red fast, there has been a control failure and the system has to be
re-programmed (see CH3).
5* The system moves for 5 seconds only.
Check if the LED in the motor-unit
fl
ashes red fast.
When the LED
fl
ashes red fast, there has been a control failure and the system has to be
re-programmed (see CH3).
6* With inter-connected systems only the system with the switch or Infrared
receiver responds.
Check if the LED in the motor-unit that responds lights red.
When this is the case, the BUS cable is defective.
7* A system that is connected to a Home Automation system stops functioning.
Check if the system will function with a standard switch, infrared receiver or buttons on underside of
moto-unit. If this is not the case, see failure 2, 3, 4 or 5.
8* System moves the wrong way when programming ‘end’ positions.
The rail is assembled the wrong way. This does not cause a problem for the functioning of the system.
To set the system to operate in the correct direction - return to the setting up section in the manual and
for each step re-program reading “
open
“ for “
close
“ and “
close
“ for “
open
“.
