In the unlikely event that neither of the above approaches succeed in initiating the
rapid cuff deflation, the power cord can be disconnected from the system. As soon
as the blood pressure module loses power, the cuff rapidly deflates.
Pass/Fail Criteria for EMC Testing and All Operations
PASS
HealthGuard-15 Blood Pressure
Cuff does not cause bruising on
the user’s arm and never exceeds
299 mmHg under any condition.
FAIL
HealthGuard-15 Blood Pressure
Cuff causes bruising, or if the
cuff pressure exceeds 299
mmHg.
