5. How to assemble the data recorder

Insert the thermal insulator top, 
noting the direction. 

 

 

Set the protective ring 
(24-004-1505-0)

 

Tie the rope with a bowknot, 
being careful not to damage the 
thermal insulator, set the inner 
capsule in the barrel housing 
using 

the piece of rope. 

After inserting the inner capsule, 
untie the rope and fasten it with 
cellophane tape.

Align cut part in protective ring with notch 
in thermal insulator top.  

Barrel housing direction

As shown below, position notch 
in thermal insulator top so that it 
is at center of top right two screw 
holes (* in figure) on barrel 
housing.
